Simply Elegant Solution

As a photographer, I often deal with a myriad of batteries. When shooting in event situations, my primary concern is powering my speelights (2 Nikon SB-700's and 1 Nikon SB-900). I need to be able to changeout batteries very quickly both on and off camera.

The product is simple and very well constructed. Indestructible comes to mind. I highly recommend the yellow color as it is far easier to see at the bottom of a camera bag than most other colors.

I use a variety of the Powerpax. I typically carry the 12 pack AA holder in my pocket and attach the 4 pack AA holder to the light stand or clamp with the flash. This allows me to change out quickly at the stand or have an assistant do the change out.

If you are using disposable batteries, simply place the used batteries in your pocket until you can discard them. NEVER placePowerPax review by Murfreesboro Photographer | Joe Dassaro them back in the holder, which I learned the hard way. If you are using batteries such as the 16 Pack New Version Sanyo Eneloop 2000 MAH LOW Discharge AA Batteries Sixteen Battery Bundle, I suggest you label your batteries in series or groups. For example, when you get a new set, you can label a group of 4 as DDDD or 1111. That way, not only can you charge them accurately, you are far more likely to know they were discharged after you replaced them when you place them back in the holder. There are many other various methods by many pro's concerning battery management. Some even use specific rechargeable batteries with specific flashes by labeling their flashes and batteries.

Either way, great product at a nominal price. The product, like other Powerpax, are indestructible.
